The North American video game publisher XSEED Games announced on Tuesday that the The Last Story action role-playing game for the Nintendo Wii has been the most successful title in the publisher's history.
The company released a standard edition of the game on Tuesday for US$29.99. XSEED Games originally released the game in August in North America.
The designer Hironobu Sakaguchi (Final Fantasy franchise, Blue Dragon) directed the game developed by the studios Mistwalker and AQ Interactive. In the adventure game's story, players control a group of mercenaries as they leave the declining mainland to find work on the prospering Lazulis Island.
