posted on by Egan Loo
The anime music production unit Flying Dog began streaming a teaser video for Kotoura-san television anime.
The video highlights the five main characters:
- Haruka Kotoura (played by Hisako Kanemoto), a girl who can read people's minds
- Yoshihisa Manabe (Jun Fukushima), the boy completely enamored with Kotoura
- Yuriko Mifune (Kana Hanazawa), the school's ESP Club president
- Daichi Muroto (Hiro Shimono), the ESP Club vice-president
- Hiyori Moritani (Yurika Kubo), the heir of her family's dōjō
The anime will adapt Enogizu's four-panel online romantic comedy manga of the same name. The school fantasy story follows Haruka Kotoura, a girl who recently transfered to a new school. Kotoura happens to be able to read people's minds, and she joins the school's ESP Club.
Masahiko Ohta (Minami-ke, Mitsudomoe, Yuruyuri) is directing the anime at the studio AIC Classic. Takashi Aoshima (Minami-ke, Mitsudomoe, Yuruyuri) is in charge of the series scripts, while Takaharu Ōkuma (Mitsudomoe, Hanaukyo Maid-tai) is serving as the character designer and chief animation director.
The manga has been running on Micro Magazine's website Manga Goccha (Manga Got a Chance), and Micro Magazine published the third compiled book volume last year.
The anime will premiere in Japan next January.
