Nintendo Confirms Wii U Is Region-Locked

Nintendo UK confirmed with the video game news website Eurogamer on Monday that the Wii U console, like the Nintendo 3DS handheld console, will be region locked.
The Wii U will ship in two versions in North America on November 18, in Europe on November 30, and in Japan on December 8.
