Nintendo Wii U's Global Launch, Game Lineup Revealed (Updated)

Nintendo revealed during its streamed Nintendo Direct Wii U Preview on Thursday that it will launch its Wii U console in North America on November 18, followed by Europe on November 30. The basic set will include the console itself in white with eight gigabytes of internal flash memory, a white GamePad, AC adaptors for both, a high-speed HDMI cable, and a sensor bar for US$299.99. The deluxe set will include a black console with 32 gigabytes of internal flash memory, a black GamePad, AC adaptors for both, a high-speed HDMI cable, and a sensor bar for US$349.99.
(The similar basic and premium sets in Japan both lack the sensor bar, while the Japanese premium set adds the Nintendo Network Premium service, a pre-paid card, and three stands for the console and GamePad.)
