K-ON! Film Sells 864,769 Tickets in 24 Days

The Japanese website Cinema Today reported on Tuesday that the K-ON! film sold 864,769 tickets in its first 24 days since its December 3 opening. The film journalist Hiroo Otaka reported on Monday that the film earned 1,139,230,000 yen (about US$14.6 million), while Cinema Today was more specific at 1,139,225,150 yen.
