K-On! Gets Film Green-Lit

Announced in final episode of K-ON!! television series & official site
The final episode of the K-ON!! television anime series has announced that a film version of K-ON! has been green-lit.

Update: The movie announcement is also on the official website. Voice actress Asami Sanada (Sawako Yamanaka) posted on her Twitter account that she did not know about the film and added that it was a surprise to her too.
