O-Parts Hunter's Kishimoto Starts New Manga in Shōnen Rival Mag

The December issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shōnen Rival magazine will reveal on Friday that Seishi Kishimoto (O-Parts Hunter, Blazer Drive) will start a new manga in the magazine's January issue. The new action fantasy manga is titled Kurenai no Ōkami to Ashikase no Hitsuji (The Crimson Wolf and the Trapped Sheep). The first 69-page chapter will contain color pages.
Kishimoto started his near-future Blazer Drive fighting manga in Shōnen Rival's debut issue in April 2008. The 9th and final volume of that manga was released in March.
Kishimoto serialized O-Parts Hunter in Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine from 2001 until 2007. Viz Media published all 19 volumes of the manga between 2006 and 2009. Kishimoto grew up drawing manga with his older brother Masashi, which is the main reason why his artwork looks similar to his more famous brother's Naruto manga.
