NY Comic Con to Host Naruto Voice's Junko Takeuchi

The North American manga and anime publisher Viz Media announced at its Comic-Con International panel on Friday that Junko Takeuchi, the Japanese voice of the Naruto anime's title character, will be a guest at this year's New York Comic Con. She will present the American premiere of Naruto Shippūden the Movie: Bonds, during the October 13-16 event.
Takeuchi's other voice roles include Gon in Hunter X Hunter, Dieter in Monster, Mokuba Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh!:Duel Monsters, and Mimi in the recent Makoto Shinkai film Hoshi o Ou Kodomo. Earlier this year, Takeuchi won the Kids/Family Award in the 5th Annual Seiyū Awards for her voice acting work.
Takeuchi will also speak at a Q&A panel and sign autographs at the New York Comic Con. Holders of the convention's Anime Access VIP tickets will have a reserved signing session with Takeuchi.
