Bakemonogatari Vol. 4 Blu-ray Sells 48,000 in 1st Week

The Oricon survey firm reports that the fifth volume of the Bakemonogatari anime series topped the weekly Blu-ray Disc chart with 46,000 copies in its first week. The fifth Bakemonogatari volume trails only the fourth volume (48,000 copies in February) and the Evangelion 1.11: You Are (Not) Alone film (49,000 copies) as the top-selling anime Blu-ray release in the first week of sales.
The first three Bakemonogatari Blu-ray volumes sold 29,000 copies in September, 39,000 copies in October, and 41,000 copies in November, respectively.
