Japanese Animation DVD Ranking, June 8-14

Document of Rookies ~Sotsugyō, the documentary for the live-action feature film based on Masanori Morita's Rookies manga, sold 2,648 more copies to add to its total of 24,303. The DVD dropped from #10 to #20. At #30, the Rookies Omote Box for the live-action television adaptation sold 1,891 more copies for a total of 71,147. Both DVD releases were buoyed by the theatrical release of Rookies ~Sotsugyō, which was the #1 movie in Japan for the first two weeks of its release. The fifth volume of the live-action special-effects series Ultra Seven sold 2,564 copies to debut at #22.
