Live-action L change the WorLd, Mei-chan no Shitsuji premiere high on TV
L change the WorLd, the live-action Death Note spinoff film starring Kenichi Matsuyama (NANA, Sexy Voice and Robo, Detroit Metal City), aired on January 16 at 9:00 p.m. as #2 film for the week of January 12-18. Only Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire's rating was higher than L change the WorLd's 15.3%. The live-action television drama adaptation of Riko Miyagi's Mei-chan no Shitsuji (Mei-chan's Butler) manga premiered on January 13 at 9:00 p.m. It earned a 14.9 rating to place #6 among the live-action television drama programs for the week.
