Anime LA: Bandai Visual Report

Bandai Visual announced its acquisition of Wings of Rean and its eventual plans to release Wings of Honneamise during its panel at Anime LA.
Also at the panel, it was announced that the Gunbuster and Diebuster compilation films will be released this fall. The Diebuster series will be released under the title Gunbuster 2 in three discs of two episodes each. No release date has been set, and no box set is currently planned.
In Gunbuster, the music in Noriko's training session with Coach has been replaced. A representative from Bandai Visual said he believes the music was changed for copyright reasons but is looking into it and will post an update online.
Bandai Visual is looking to release more of its titles on either Blu-Ray or HD-DVD in the near future.
The first episode of Gunbuster was also screened at the panel.
