Kim Kardashian Says Darling in the Franxx's Zero Two Inspired Her Hair

Some anime fans covet the colorful, perfectly coifed hairstyles of characters in their favorite shows. (This writer is guilty of aiming for Sailor Moon bangs in her tween years.) But outside of cosplay, it's rare that fans adopt anime hair in their everyday lives.
Nevertheless, celebrity Kim Kardashian confirmed last week that anime was indeed the inspiration for her new pink hair. She said on Twitter, "I am obsessed with anime. That was legit my inspo." Kardashian further clarified her inspiration on Instagram on Sunday.
DARLING in the FRANKXX heroine Zero Two apparently served as the "inspo" for Kardashian's latest style makeover. The character is a human-klaxosaur hybrid and new Squad 13 member with Hiro. Kardashian has not said whether she plans to add a pair of red horns to complete her anime transformation.

The DARLING in the FRANKXX anime series premiered on January 13, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series in Japanese with English subtitles. Funimation is also streaming the series with and English dub.
