Japanese Final Fantasy XIV 7-Eleven Items Could Head West

Final Fantasy XIV producer and director Naoki Yoshida revealed at the Penny Arcade Expo East convention in Boston over the weekend that Square Enix is in talks to bring over Japanese 7-Eleven Final Fantasy XIV items to North America. Yoshida was scarce on details beyond that discussions were happening.
The convenience store chain in Japan quickly sold out of soft drinks with participating game codes to get in-game points earlier this month. The points are used for special items like Crag Masks, Housemaid Attire, and finally a very chubby White Chocobo mount.
