I would definitely make sure I stay subbed for that white chubby chocobo. Still having fun with the game with some personal friends however I tend not to play much on my own cause its a little stale after playing so long.

I had to quit the game because it's too expensive at the moment for me, but that white choco looks nice.

I stopped playing late last year, just as I was getting into the Heavensward content. I'll eventually go back to finish it, though I'm a little sour about the voice actors being replaced.
However, I have been playing a lot of FFXI which I dropped back in 2010. It's pretty amazing how much story I can go through now solo that I could never have one back then. I really want to complete all of the missions before they pull the plug on the servers. Emerje |

I saw the uproar over these "exclusive" items being only obtainable by Japanese players a month ago, as in a game with paid subscriptions it seems a little odd that only a select audience gets in-game items.
At first I was upset too, but then I saw the point sheet. That maid outfit would cost something like $20+ worth of 7-11 slurpees, and the Fat White Chocobo was like $55. You could also sink your points into the 30K MGP currency to use in the in-game casino, and finally get the Fenrir wolf mount, for the small price of like $120. So I wasn't that bummed after seeing just how much people actually paid for the items. Chances are the exclusives will go up for sale on the cash shop. |

I'll be surprised if that white Chocobo is somehow capable of flying despite its gigantic size and short wings.

I'd like to get the Maid outfit, put the chance to get it in Europe would be very slim.

The worst part of this was that they locked it down so only those with JP accounts could redeem the codes, so no non-JP player could get these even if they wanted to pay whatever crazy amounts of $$$ through a proxy or whatever.
