Hatsune Miku Expo Finally Heads to Japan

The Hatsune Miku Expo, a world tour that had stops in Indonesia, Shanghai, Los Angeles, and New York, is finally bringing the virtual idol to Japan. Despite the country being Miku's home, next year will mark her first national live concert tour.
The HATSUNE MIKU EXPO 2016 Japan Tour will head to the following venues:
- March 23, 2016 Zepp Fukuoka
- March 24, 2016 Zepp Fukuoka
- March 29, 2016 Zepp Namba Osaka
- March 31, 2016 Zepp Nagoya
- April 5, 2016 Zepp Sapporo
- April 9, 2016 Zepp Tokyo
- April 10, 2016 Zepp Tokyo
The organizers are also holding a contest until October 19. Participants around the world can submit their own Hatsune Miku song and the grand prize winner's submission will be performed at a future Hatsune Miku Expo concert. A two-week trial version of Hatsune Miku V3 English is being offered for free so more fans can participate. The song must be uploaded to the Soundcloud group Hatsune Miku Expo Song Contest.
The winner will also receive 30,000 yen (US$250) worth of products from SONICWIRE and tickets to the concert where their song will be performed by Hatsune Miku. Two runner ups will get US$250 worth of products from SONICWIRE.
