SingPost Celebrates Hello Kitty's 40th With Special Stamps and Merchandise

To help honor Hello Kitty's 40th anniversary, Singapore's postal service company, SingPost, is releasing five limited edition sets of Hello Kitty stamp sheets and collectable merchandise under their brand name, MyStamp, which specializes in custom souvenirs and stamps. The five sets will be released throughout the year and will "showcase the evolution of Hello Kitty."
The first two sets, Hello Kitty Limited Edition MyStamp Book ($69.90) and Hello Kitty Singapore MyStamp Folder ($18), are set to be released on April 16. The MyStamp book set will include an eight-page booklet of Hello Kitty souvenir stamp sheets and a tote bag. The folder pack will have a printed Hello Kitty themed souvenir sheet and a lanyard.
The other three MyStamp Folder sets: Hello Kitty Classic ($28), Hello Kitty Love and Friendship ($28), and Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary Celebration ($38) will be released in June, August, and October. Besides the souvenir stamp sheets, each of these folder sets include special items such as a brooch, an umbrella, or a travel bag plus lanyard.
From March 10 to March 31, customers can preorder the entire SingPost X Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary Collection online for $148.

Hello Kitty's 40th anniversary is being honored in many ways, most recently with SMAP's Hello Kitty Suits, a collaboration with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and one with Playboy.
