Hello Kitty Heads to the Wrestling Ring In New Collaboration
posted on by Chris Nishijima
New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced its latest collaborative effort, and it may be one that surprises quite a few people. In accordance with Hello Kitty's 40th anniversary, NJPW has decided to release two special T-Shirts featuring Sanrio's famous mascot.
The first shirt's design will have Hello Kitty peeking out of the jaws of NJPW's lion mascot, while the other will have NJPW's crest on Hello Kitty's iconic bow. Below, Hello Kitty can be seen promoting the shirts alongside Tanahashi Hiroshi, current IWGP Intercontinental Champion and six-time IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
The shirts can be purchased on NJPW's official web store for 3,500 yen (about $34.25), tax included.
