Giant monster film slated to open on May 16
Stuntmen in Gareth Edward's Godzilla remake were recorded rappelling out of a helicopter above Gold Ears Park, British Columbia on Friday. The stuntmen are seen wearing military uniforms and gear.
The crew began shooting in Canada late last month, with set videos hinting at destruction. The film's cast lineup includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Ken Watanabe, David Strathairn, Bryan Cranston, Richard T. Jones, Juliette Binoche, and Sally Hawkins.
The film will open on May 16, 2014.
