The Sukima Switch duo will perform the new opening theme song "Eureka" for the Space Brothers television anime series beginning with its July 1 broadcast. Sukima Switch's new single with the "Eureka" song will go on sale on August 8. The limited-edition version bundled with a DVD will retail for 1,890 yen (about US$24), a limited-edition version with an anime image on the jacket will retail for 1,365 yen (about US$17), and the regular edition will retail for 1,223 yen (about US$15).
Sukima Switch previously provided theme songs for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, The Beast Player Erin, Tokyo Marble Chocolate, and the Doraemon: Nobita no Kyōryū and Pokémon Zoroark: Master of Illusions films.
Angela Aki will be singing the new ending theme song titled "Kokuhaku" (Confession). The new song will be included in Aki's first single since her recent maternity leave.
The anime adaptation of Chūya Koyama's Space Brothers (Uchū Kyōdai) manga follows the story of two brothers, Mutta and Hibito, who made a vow as kids to travel to space. The younger brother Hibito did become an astronaut, but not Mutta. However, Mutta's life changes one fateful day. Crunchyroll is streaming the series in various countries outside Japan as it airs.
