Mamoru Oshii's Steel Battalion Live-Action Trailer Posted

CAPCOM's official website for the Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor (Jū-Tekki) game began streaming a 15-second version of a live-action image trailer directed by Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, The Sky Crawlers, Avalon). Oshii filmed the trailer on location in Poland to allow viewers to experience the realistic environment and weapons of the mecha simulation action game.
The game serves as a sequel to CAPCOM's Steel Battalion (Tekki) game franchise. However, unlike the previous Steel Battalion entries, From Software (Armored Core) is developing the game. It is also CAPCOM's first title that is compatible with the Kinect "controller-free" 3D device for the Xbox 360 game console, instead of the previous games' exclusive controller.
CAPCOM will release the game for the Xbox 360 on June 19 in North America, on June 21 in Japan, and on June 22 in Europe. The distributor already previewed the game at Captivate, its annual media showcase event that took place in Rome in April.
