posted on by Joseph First
Exactly one year after the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake disaster, the Seiendan support group will host a charity event with anime voice actors to benefit recovery efforts. The "Don't Forget 3.11 Seiendan Egao o Todoketai" event will take place in Tokyo's Harajuku Astro Hall at 2:00 p.m and 6:00 p.m. on March 11.
Led by Kazuhiko Inoue (Naruto, Case Closed), participating voice actors will include Mika Kanai (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, When They Cry - Higurashi), Anri Katsu (Guilty Crown, Danbōru Senki), Nobutoshi Canna (Fate/stay night, Berserk), and others. Tickets are now available online for 3,000 yen (about US$40).
Various voice actors, creators, and Japanese celebrities have participated in charity events since the March 11 earthquake and tsunami. Seiendan posted an 8-minute support video with messages and a song from participating voice actors last April.
