posted on by Jennifer Sherman
The official Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena game website revealed two more characters on Monday: Naoto Shirogane and Kuma. Shirogane is the androgynous "Detective Prince" from Persona 4, and Kuma is a bear-like creature from the previous fighting game. The 2D fighting game is set two months after the story of the original Persona 4 role-playing game from Atlus.
Atlus and Arc System Works (Guilty Gear, BlazBlue) are developing Persona 4: Utimate In Mayonaka Arena with characters from both the Persona 3 and Persona 4 video games. Confirmed characters include Persona 4's main character and his persona Izanagi, Chie and her persona Tomoe, Yosuke and his persona Jiraiya, and Aigis and her summon Athena. The game's trailer also revealed the characters Kanji Tatsumi and Yukiko Amagi in September.
Atlus will release the game on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in Japan next summer.
