posted on by Egan Loo
Bandai Namco Games began streaming the first teaser promotional video for the Crayon Shin-chan Uchū DE Achō!? Yūjō no Obakarate "anime action" game on Tuesday. In the first Nintendo 3DS game based on Yoshito Usui's manga and anime franchise, players control the title character Shinnosuke Nohara (Shin-chan) as he fights to take back his town of Kasukabe. A mysterious entity has ripped Kasukabe off the face of Earth and deposited it in outer space.
The game will be animated similarly to the anime itself, giving players the feeling they are controlling the anime. Yuji Mutoh, the director for the television anime, is supervising all aspects of the game. The game will take advantage of the Nintendo 3DS' gyro-sensor and stereoscopic 3D display, and Shin-chan has to team up with his sister Himawari and his pet Shiro to overcome obstacles and reach places he cannot reach alone.
The game will ship in Japan on December 1.
