Crayon Shin-chan Gets 3DS Action Game in December

Bandai Namco Games revealed on Thursday that it will release a Crayon Shin-chan action videogame on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on December 1. In the game, titled Crayon Shin-chan Uchū DE Achō!? Yūjō no Obakarate, players will be able to control the protagonist Shinnosuke Nohara (Shin-chan) as he fights to take back his town of Kasukabe, which has been taken into space.
The game will be animated similarly to the anime itself, giving players the feeling they are controlling the anime. Yuji Mutoh, the director for the television anime, is supervising all aspects of the game. The game will use the Nintendo 3DS' gyro-sensor and stereoscopic 3D display as Shin-chan teams up with his sister Himawari and his pet Shiro to overcome obstacles and reach high places.
More details about the game are published in the September 8 issue of Enterbrain's Weekly Famitsu magazine, which ships on Thursday.
