The October issue of Hakusensha's Young Animal Arashi magazine revealed on Friday that it will begin serialization on a four-panel spinoff manga of Ryuta Amazume's Nana to Kaoru seinen manga (pictured at right) in its November issue. Tamami Momose (Sensei no Ojikan) will draw the spinoff manga, titled Nana Kao Pink Pure. The November issue will ship on October 7.
The original Nana to Kaoru manga follows a boy named Kaoru who still has erotic feelings for his childhood friend and fellow high school student Nana. Hideki Okamoto directed an original video animation adaptation of the Nana to Kaoru manga, and the anime shipped with the manga's sixth volume on March 29. A live-action version of the manga, written and directed by Atsushi Shimizu, was also released in March.
Hakusensha released a limited-edition Nana to Kaoru: Black Label volume in June, which contained a "dōjinshi" bonus with art from other manga artists such as Chika Umino, Shimoku Kio, Taku Kitazaki, Keito Koume, and Bow Ditama.
The October issue of Young Animal Arashi also published the one-shot "Secret Lab" erotic comedy manga from Shigemitsu Harada (Yuria Hyaku-shiki) and Katsumi Kobayashi (Virgin na Kankei).
