posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
The Japanese publisher Hakusensha will release part of Ryuta Amazume's Nana to Kaoru seinen manga in a limited-edition Nana to Kaoru: Black Label volume that will bundle what it describes as a "premium dōjinshi" on June 29. The "dōjinshi" bonus will contain art from other manga artists such as Chika Umino (Honey and Clover, March comes in like a lion), Shimoku Kio (Genshiken, Kujibiki Unbalance), Taku Kitazaki (Angel Cop), Keito Koume (Kujibiki Unbalance, Spice & Wolf), Bow Ditama (Mahoromatic, Kiss×sis), among others.
The Nana to Kaoru: Black Label volume itself contains part of the manga's run in Hakusensha's Young Animal Arashi magazine. Hideki Okamoto directed an original video animation adaptation of the manga, and the anime shipped with the manga's sixth volume on March 29. A live-action version of the manga, written and directed by Atsushi Shimizu, was also released in March.
