Yamaha Music Media Adapts 8 Operas Into Manga

Carmen, Madama Butterfly, Figaro, Magic Flute, others in easy-to-understand format
The publisher Yamaha Music Media is releasing eight manga adaptations of classic operas between this month and next March. The series aims to spread the appreciation and enjoyment of works that have been long considered too elite for most people. German literature expert Kyōko Nakano is supervising the series, and each book includes a guide to appreciating opera for new fans.
