$324?

if it's not region lock and the import cost is low might as well import the system ??

btw.. is this the SLIM version??

it has some features of the slim

1- lighter
2- more energy efficient

but other than that the outside appearance is the same..

^ It would be noted as slim in its name.

Gotta please Europe first as usual since they buy PS products the most.

...and this is the reason I've been holding out on buying the PS4. In the hopes the slimmer version with maybe more gigs would be released.

Definitely looking at PS4. It's just a matter of waiting for things like this. Since I'm not situated in with my current employment status, I am okay with waiting until even more things happen with the PS4. I'm a big Gears of War and Halo fan but Xbone just has not impressed me enough.

.

The only reason is only $324 because 1 USD = $123 right now. The price doesn't change, only yen goes down.

it will be more $400 when you buy it and ship it over. USD/JPY will go down, shipping price, ect.

i think you mean

1 USD ($) = 123 Yen (¥)

i saw City Hunter last night ... in 1987 1 USD = 150 yen..

i guess it goes up and down.. a few years ago i think it was the low 90 ?

instead of dropping the price of the system they added in a bigger HDD

honestly.. the PS4 should started out with 1TB minimum.. since the PS3 already has 500GB (the model i have)

PS4 games even though you have the physical disc they still dump pretty much the entirely game on the HDD

back then the typtical Game Data is around 9GB or less.. with the PS4 games... well... i heard from gamers that it can be pretty much the whole game 20-40GB (more or less)

i guess they are trying to make gamers feel like having physical discs are useless anyway

since they are taking away the "space saving" benefit of physical media..

My PS4 is already 1TB.

Biggest single game so far for me is The Elder Scrolls Online at 53GB or so.

you cant be surprised. this is sony's way to combat the xbox one 1tb versions that got released in e3.

unfortunately this will mean those new models wont be compatiable with any digital version of ps3 games. i guess microsoft really pulled a massive rabbit out of their hat with that announcement.
