Looking good. I can't wait to see this in action. The music score is really nice too. Only a few more months before release so that's enough time to do more beta testing and other stuff. We'll be ordering our copy when the time is right. Surprised

This game looks so childish and indie compared to the first trailer / preview they showed when they started their Kickstarter.
Played the demo as well, this game is so clunky compared to the original Megaman games but I guess I shouldn't compare.

Highly regret backing this game.
If you get a backing of millions of dollars, your game should not look indie but more of a real game.

Before everyone gets mad at me, this is all my opinion so reconsider what you're about to say.

Indie games are real games. There's no contradiction there.

And $3.5 million only seems like a lot if you forget that AAA titles these days often have budgets that are twenty times that much.

i was going to get it for the Wii U, even have a pre-order, but if the PS4 gets exclusive content, then I may get that instead. Unless Nintendo plan to add exclusive content to the Wii U version.

Sadly I agree 100%. Azure Striker Guhnvolt ended up being what I originally wanted this to become.

Personally I just don't think 3D works with sidescrollers. Feels off to me.

Also, did I hear some horrible English voice acting in there or was it horrible Japanese voice acting trying to speak English? Horrible either way.

A real game? you do realize many indie games require millions of dollars to make?

AAA games often cost closer to 50-100 million, 2-3 million is nothing for a game.

To be fair you're insisting that a video game made on a smaller budget and with a smaller team of developers than that of AAA video game should look exactly like those triple A games. You're opinion isn't exactly sound either.

I'm hoping Hyper Light Drifter won't be as disappointing.
