Wow, I guess Media Blasters wasn't joking when they said that they lost the licenses to pretty much anything that wasn't licensed in the past few years.

This also probably explains why some retailers had trouble restocking that "Anime Works Classics" version of the complete collection.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrreat another Media Blasters rescue. First Moribito now this? I have sent John Sirabella a letter regarding this matter and asked what titles from their past/current catalog are confirmed as expired but they haven't got back to me because they are busy with ANOTHER Netflix project! Can't they renew those titles instead of dropping them because they are expired?!

He meant to say " This is a waste of a license rescue. There's zero plot, mindless fanservice, and a poor english dub."

LOL. When I first read your post, I thought you wrote "Grrrrr", like you were angry that it got rescued. Anime smile

I can imagine the license was purchased for a pack of smokes and a bottle of sake.

I saw an episode or two when this first aired and I thought it was one of the worst shows I had ever seen until I saw kanamemo.
but now i've also seen maken-ki and have this bad taste in my mouth and can't tell exactly where my standards are anymore.

anyway, I did go ahead and buy it to help support MFI a few months ago.

idk though, what is going on lately?
people at rightstuf on crazy pills?
they need to stop releasing crap and find a production company with a blu-ray writer.

DVDs are just like bell-bottoms, on the one way express headed out of style.

Pointless license, media blasters released the complete series with a $20 MSRP and there are still a ton of copy's for sale. Its also a terrible anime series. I can't imagine they'll even sell 1,000 copies. They must've gotten this license super cheap.
