Before you all go and buy the Premium/LE of Gundam EX Vs. Full Boost, you should be aware of something about those extra music tracks...

... they're NOT on the game disc. You have to use a DLC code to get all that extra music which means you must have a PSN-Japan Account to download the music.

I e-mailed a reliable importer (NCS) and they confirmed this for me.

I personally don't think the LE is worth it.

I think $80 is pushing it for regular game edition to begin with... The prices on first-run PS3 games have gotten ridiculous for many of us who do occasional importing. I haven't seen casually high game prices like this since the SNES/SFC cartridge days. Prices settled way down during the Saturn/PS1 and stayed relatively reasonable through the PS2 era.

You MIGHT still be able to add music to the new Gundam game through the menu, though. I have a feeling from the previous PS3 Gundam Vs release that this might be possible. There have been games in the past that let you play tracks from your HD while you actually play the game (SF IV among them).

P.S. --

For what it's worth, I honestly don't think now is the time to buy a PS4. I demo'd one today and I was less than impressed. Next year's games should be much better. Right now, I'm not seeing much of anything that couldn't be done on a PS3 or XBox 360. It's slim game pickings even if you COULD find a PS4 console now!

For what it's worth I'm more than happy with my PS4, but I do think many people may want to wait until more games relevant to them come out.
The next Gundam Vs being on Namco's next gen arcade board does mean that series will be hitting the PS4(along with Tekken) within the next few years.
