I wonder what the chances are for this game to come out on the switch?
The Switch has gotten a lot of mobile games lately.
------------------------------
First of all the game looks amazing
Second the music is beautiful
And Third, you can actually feel the world.
I wonder if they are finally focusing on the characters for once.
------------------------------
I really don't know if this is going to be another gacha, I hope its actually a game.
I already want to be playing this. I really want to know what happens next.
What I've seen, I like it. Anytime I see imagination I appreciate it.

I was excited until I watched the trailer and noticed there is not a single male character in sight. and my interest plummeted.

Maeda...this is so not you. This does not feel like something you made. You love romance, remember!? What the heck is this.

Are you saying "games with gacha are not actually games" because I disagree. Laughing

On one hand, this was jointly made with WFS, and I've been really impressed with their work on Another Eden. On the other hand, I've heard rumors about how Maeda has been burnt out with work, so I suspect this might be bad.

But even so, I still hope this game would be a success since I like the people working on it.

I thought the same and as a die-hard Key fan I've always liked having males to balance it out. I have small hope for some extension but, who knows. It sure is Maeda though girls in a band and the great music and might have baseball haha.

Yeah, it's true his Twitter is just depressing tweets atm, so I hope this game is successful. Kami day was just not great and he mentioned he wouldn't do an anime anymore. I love his stories but I think they work better in other formats. So I hope he gets some really positive news his way.

I'd be interested in checking out the game regardless, just to support the company. I hope to end up liking it, despite no males in the cast.

Looking at the content available, this feels like the Blue Reflection social game that was cancelled but redone.

If this game does Blue Reflection numbers then it's gg... But it looks a bit more promising and would be interesting to see what the market is for something like this.

Don't be so heteronormative. There can still be romance with a female only cast and not every game needs romance anyway.

And then the twist at the end that they're actually fighting inside your body! And the Seraph is actually chemo!

Oh my gosh, you're right about his Twitter...
A recent tweet:
Quote:

Translation:
Quote:
I think a 'mobile game with a good story' is like a 'fast, cheap full course meal', in that it's inherently a contradiction in itself, and I can't imagine anyone playing such a game to hear the music and voice acting either. The idea that something like that would bring someone to tears is an illusion. Tackling the project of trying to manifest that illusion is what a bunch of adults are seriously working on currently.

It definitely sounds like his heart isn't in it...

Not sure if I should link to the tweet itself since it's Maeda's personal twitter account he set up after deleting the last one, but searching for the Japanese text online will probably lead people to it if they're curious.

This! I generally like the male characters in the anime based on Key VNs I've seen, and Another Eden by the same game company that's doing this game has some amazingly gorgeous male character art. Having no male characters is really a letdown and gets rid of any chance of me wanting to try this game.

I can complain about a lack of boy x girl ships if I wanna, thank you. Imagine criticizing someone for being "heteronormative" when they expect the creator who has been "heteronormative" since 2002 to continue making "heteronormative" stories for a bishoujo game industry with a fanbase that is ALSO "heteronormative". Rolling Eyes Since when did ANN turn into tumblr...dear God...

@HoshizoranoUtage

RIGHT!? I love those characters. I also recommend Kaginado for some great jokes and lots of screentime they get. Wink

It looks interesting and I'd like to try it, but I already have im@s, enstars, fgo, feh and proseka on my ipad and there's no way this is gonna fit in there! I wish mobile game developers had the limited storage of phones and tablets in mind when making stuff. These things don't have memory cards

YES, right, this is a serious problem! Twisted Evil There's a gacha game I like to play and it takes up a LOT of space...so you know, I got a SD card to put it on....only it doesn't work if you install it on the card. I have to delete stuff every time the game updates. It's incredibly annoying. I have no idea why they make it so you can't install it on the stupid card that has plenty of space unlike the storage on my phone. [screeching]

The other alternative (besides tablet as mine stopped working very long ago) is installing the BlueStacks program that allows you to use Android apps on your PC.

And trust me, you don't wanna do that. The lag is hellish. Anime cry I've experienced this nightmare for myself.

Exactly! It seems like the game studio behind this doesn't seem to understand why works by Key are so good in the first place. Yes the female characters are a big part of the plots, but the male characters help hold it together and are a huge part of the appeal for me. Maeda seems to be slipping into depression judging by his tweets so I'm not sure why he didn't turn down the offer of making a mobile game, unless he either needs the money or doesn't care what he works on now.

Also thanks for suggesting Kaginado! I watched the first episode and I think it just spoiled the ending of Little Busters for me,which reminded me that I still need to go back and finish that series...when I finish Little Busters I'll give Kaginado another try!
