I received the Ghost Stories Boxset and PaniPoni Dash vol 5. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting on the box that has vols 1, 3-4 and 6. Which shipped 3 days before this one shipped. |

I just got the GITS Goodsmile Gokinh Tachikoma from HLJ. The figure is really great, very detailed and the tiny Motoko is cool. But unfortunately one of Tachi's arms is broken as you can see in the last 2 pictures attached. It was this way when I opened the sealed box. It seems to be a moving part which retracts in the arm and very hard to glue or fix at home.
I already contacted HLJ about this. Do you think is there a chance for HLJ to send a replacement arm? Don't need the entire Tachi since it comes disassembled in the original box so an arm will suffice.

Hmm, the last time I asked them to send something instead of waiting for the other items in my preorder to arrive I didn't get charged extra. Well I can wait for it since I have School Rumble Vol 10 in that preorder and that comes out next week so I can wait a bit for it. |

I got Gakuen Alice volume 3 the other day in exchange for doing more chores. And this marks the first time that I have actually caught up with the US release of a manga, normally I'm way behind.

Increasing postage costs made TRSI change their partial shipment rules a bit awhile ago. It used to be that when something came in, it shipped, nothing extra needed. Nowadays, the item is held until the order is complete, or until the higher-ups give permission to release partial orders... which seems to happen every 2 weeks or so (I typically have multiple open orders, so I might see more partial ships than most.) If you request a partial shipment, instead of waiting for them, you pay the $4 shipping charge (what you get charged for shipping on a single-item order.) |
