I thinking that maybe we should change that rule so that it only prevents high scorers from taking extra turns for a certain amount of time. That way, people who don't normally post would have time to post when there is an open turn, but it would help keep the game moving when no one wants to take an open turn.

For me often it's because I don't see people saying pass. I think maybe we should make a rule where you have to bold the pass.

The site that I looked at to find the answer listed her as his mother, but when I watched the scene I could find with her, no one said a name for her or mentioned her relation. Anyway, thank you for accepting the guess. Here is the next character:

No problem. I'm pretty sure the dub says it's his grandmother, and the English credits do give her a name, but I don't remember what it is off the top of my head.
