So that Ryo Ohki thing looks like just a re-release of the 3rd OVA set, unless I am being absent-minded...

Not like I need any of that Tenchi stuff anyhow (since I have it all!).

So nothing about Strike Witches 2 either?

Since we are on the subject of Tenchi, has anybody mentioned anything about getting/licencing the "Spin-off" show that came out a couple years back? Something about another "cousin" of Tenchi, and it was a sort-of "Dual" type show?

Why complain about getting Enishi with Ai Yori Aoshi, since they both are fun, cute, and heartwarming shows. I do kind of wish they had shown what happened at the end of the manga though...

Are you meaning the Pretty Sammy series or whatever? That's the only spin-off show that I can remember that goes with Tenchi.

There's also Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari which is unlicensed still.

I also have an interest in SW 2 but they haven't announced their July or August line up yet so it could possibly be in either of those months or sometime in the fall.

Disappointed that they cancelled the Ai Yori Aoshi release! I really had my hopes up that I could sell my barebones and art boxes and get a cheaper, space-saving version. I plan to leave Funi feedback about this and encourage them to release it down the road.

I think he means Saint Knight's Tale. It has Tenchi's half brother fighting with robot power armor or something.

Ah, gotcha.

No, I don't think that's been licensed. Or a rescue for Pretty Sammy (which I personally want, but eh).

Baka and Test is loaded with extras. Cross dressing contest? What? And thank goodness they're using full sized keepcases. I liked the really nice filler boxes they did, but they were annoying since it's nearly impossible (for me at least) to throw them away since they aren't a necessity. We still don't know what the TRSI extra is, though. I bet it's a centerfold with that trap.

If this is how they're handling these LE combos, I'm curious about Ga-Rei Zero's art book. I guess they're going to put it on the outside, but Funimation isn't exactly too keen on putting extras inside the shrinkwrap.

Thanks for the update, WTK. I'm always in marvel of the information you can gather and how fast you gather it.

Just for future reference, do distribs usually announce their official solicitations at the beginning of every month? Because this is the beginning of April, does that mean the official solicitations for July will be coming out soon? Or is it not as structured as that?

Middle to the end of the month. Funimation and S23 are more around the middle with Bandai being towards the early 20s. I have no idea when Media Blasters comes around, though.

Those are the same covers that Taiwan uses, except its the artbox instead of the thin box. And they are combining bluerey and DVD in the same package? Awsome. They should just be doing that instead of selling either the DVD set or the Blue Ray Set. Id fork over 40-50 Bux easy for both versions if they are included.

Will be getting both whenever they come out in the states.

Bandai Visual's release of Honneamise was done the way Funi's doing their LE's now, and the booklet thingy that came with that fit inside the box.

I guess it depends on how thick the art book is going to be.

Thanks for the pic. Yea, the art box for Sacred Blacksmith was about that size, so I guess it'll fit in there just fine. I guess there goes all my hopes of a getting a hardcover art book somewhere down the line...
