DVD problems over at Bandai?

Bandai moves to a new DVD Replicator
ANN received word from a reader that Bandai was in the process of changing disc replicators.
Although Bandai has never acknowledged any replication problems with their DVDs, the change in replicators could very well make the problems people have been having with Bandai DVDs a thing of the past. These problems were most evident on DVDs such as Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, Gundam Wing: Operation 05 and Outlaw Star Collection 2, some of which simply would not play in some DVD players.
Already copies of Gundam Wing Vol. 6 have appeared from the new replicator, Future Media, and can be clearly identified by the company name printed on DVDs' center ring. Apparently Future Media is also printing more copies of Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz.
When asked about the move to the new replicator, Bandai representative Jerry Chu confirmed the move, "Yes, we're also planning on going with one other replicator." Unfortunately he was not able to divulge further information regarding the other new replicator at the time.
Best news is that our reader, who owns a DVD player recognized as having problems with previous Bandai titles (Toshiba SD-3108), has had no serious problems with the Future Media pressing of Gundam Wing Vol. 6.
Thank you Patrick for bringing this information to our attention.
