Harper Enters "How to Draw" Market

High interest in "How to Draw Manga" pushes Major publisher to enter fray.
The "How to Draw Manga" books have been highly popular due to the explosion of interest in "anime style" art, and now even major publishers have taken note. Harper/Collins, through its May Harper Design International imprint, will publish Japanese Comickers: Draw Anime & Manga Like Japan's Hottest Artists.
The book is less a step-by-step introduction to the art style than a survey of the techniques and preferences of Japan's newest generation of manga artists. Yu Kagel, Hirofumi Fujiko, Naamirio, Noriko Meguro, Shunpei, Hinoki Anamori, Sunaho Tobe, nini, Hikaru Nakano, Ridoru, Ryugua, Yōko Tanji, Mey Suzuki, and Ippei Gyōbu all have their styles placed under the microscope.
