Nintendo of America hosted a Nintendo Direct presentation on Wednesday, and revealed that Rhythm Hunter Harmo Knight, the rhythm action game for the Nintendo 3DS developed by Pokémon's GAME FREAK, will get a release in North America on the Nintendo e-Shop.
Rhythm Hunter Harmo Knight takes place in the world of Harmonia. The player controls Tempo-kun, who must jump and attack at the right rhythm in each level to the game's background music to create a tune. Nintendo released the game in Japan on September 5 via Nintendo's e-Shop. Nintendo of America did not specify a release date for the game in North America.
The presentation also revealed release dates or windows for a few games:
- Pikmin 3 for Wii U - 2nd Quarter 2013
- Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon for Nintendo 3DS - Spring 2013
- Fire Emblem Awakening for Nintendo 3DS - February 4, 2013
Yosuke Hayashi, the producer of Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, also revealed that the Wii U version of the game will get two new playable characters: Momiji from Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword and Kasumi from the Dead or Alive series. Both will be available for free via a downloadable patch.
