So Toyota decided to not refer to their merchandise as "itasha" = "pain/ouch cars"?
Color me shocked.
But seriously, this idea is sure focused on a tiny demographic. What percentage of the people on the waiting list will really be interested in the car and what percentage would just be there for the limited edition goods or radio program, etc?
Also, that Toyota Ikebukuro showroom is right on Otome-road... They'd do better with an Uta no Prince Sama car I think .

Part of it i think is a strong promotion for Prius itself. I meant hink about it, even to those who aren't fans of Idolm@ster Toyota was able to do something that it truth is relatively cheap to them and now it makes its way across anime related news throughout Japan and the US.
This about it, I just read about something from Toyota and it has now been attached to something I like...therefor there is a correlation now where in the back of my mind whenever I watch Idolm@ster this car/company is in the back of my mind.
Whisper marketing really is a powerful thing. My professor is going to love this.

I wonder what those stickers go for? I love to do that to my Avensis with Hatsune Miku, but I'd probably get pulled over for causing a distraction on the motorway. I guess that's where some of the "pain" comes in
