I suppose it's expected, but ugh. Gungrave?
I certainly hope the Williams Street guys excise good judgement and go with Paranoia Agent.

Never will happen. It should happen but it never will. I know that they put FLCL on, but PA is too much for many AS viewers I think.
That being out of the equasion, I'm hoping for Champloo. Like PA, that leaves Gungrave in the dust.

Samurai Champloo = Good.
Gungrave = Enticing to people who haven't seen it and think it's Trigun 2. Not so enticing to anyone who's been made to actually watch it.

Personally, I thought Kurogane would have been good. But I suppose Gungrave had an unfair advantage because it was made by Yasuhiro Nightow (creator of Trigun). Or maybe it was just the name. You have to admit, Gungrave does sound cool.

Sad. I heard Gungrave was lacking and although we know it's going to win, I really did hope Samurai Champloo would. When the first episode aired I heard people compare it to Bebop.
I dont know, but I'll be voting for Champloo

Gungrave has the advantage of, um, being advertised on television. The others, meanwhile, might have a pithy trailer on Geneon's freebie convention DVDs.
And I somehow doubt they'd put Paranoia Agent on one of their polls if there was no possible way they'd be able to air it.
I mean, the show may be a bit confusing, but at least it's not mind-numbingly dull. Gungrave. cough.

Although Gungrave is likely to win I voted for Paranoia Agent. It's great to see Geneon own properties. Too bad the poll didn't include other Geneon titles like Texhnolyze and Hajime no Ippo. It's likely the people at AS thought that Texhnolyze too violent to put on tv and Hajime no Ippo was a no because it's a sports genre oh well.
Let's hope that AS decides to put more than one title that is on that poll on tv.

It would be great to see Texhnolyze on TV, but it is very violent, and not like most AS shows: it brutally violent. Also most AS viewers would think its too slow and confusing.

I voted for Paranoia Agent as it's the only one I was interested in seeing. I don't think Champloo is doing that great in Japan, as it was removed from regular TV broadcast and now is only on satellite. I heard a few people that were upset it wasn't just canceled altogether.

Well, when I saw the episodes I didn't even think AS would touch samurai champloo, due to the amount of adult content in it. Granted AS is supposed to be for adults, but even so I didn't think they would take the title.
I haven't voted yet but I'll put in a vote for gungrave when I get around to it. I've wanted to see paranoia agent but gungrave will do much better IMO so I'll vote for it.

Voting is over Gungrave won, unfortunately. Hopefully that poll didn't really mean anything.

It's likely they made that poll to see what people are interested in seeing. It seems those are AS top choices in likely to put on AS so their probably making sure as to which anime AS viewers would be interested in seeing the most. AS has made some bad mistakes in lincensing anime that didn't go well for AS viewers Kidaider sp? , Reign and Blue Gender although Blue Gender wasn't a "bad" show but the second half of the series isn't as good as the first half and it also has a not so good ending which pissed off many people.
So far AS has recently made some great choices Full Metal Alachemist and Ghost in the Shell tv series. Hopefully they keep up with good choices that they made recently in lincensing good anime.
