I am not surprised at all. With all the attention Chizuru's gotten, it's a no-brainer.

"The North American publisher Seven Seas Entertainment had announced in September of 2006 that it would be translating the original light novel series into English. "

And Dark Horse announced last year that they'd be releasing World's Embryo.

Much like with what Viz did on titles such as Honey and Clover, companies just sit and sit and sit on these series.

It'll be a while before we see this stateside in 'any' format I bet.

All three lead seiyū of Kanokon have roles in Queen's Blade as well. "Kawasumi x Noto" wins anyway. Wink

KyoAni caught up with all two volumes of the K-ON! manga that's available. We probably won't hear an announcement for season 2 for at least 2 years.

Fun no-brainer series.
Actually enjoyed it alot more than the the likes of Ikkitousen and Queens Blade as it had an ok plot beneath the fanservice.

God I loved this show, and I loved it even more when the DVDs came out. The only show that can top Kanokon in fanservice is Kanokon.
