I've been waiting a while for someone to license this =3

I love Moriyama's art, and the story is interesting as well.
Can't wait =D

For a split second I thought this was talking about "Ultimate Mop Daisuke DX. " Laughing

This is indeed good news. Tokyopop never got around to releasing it so it was mildly frustrating that I was missing out on it.

And just finally knowing it will get a release makes it all that much better. Honestly, aside from Chobits and a couple other manga, Chrono Crusade was the only series I got to full completion. I really enjoy Moriyama's works.

Nice. I enjoyed Chrono Crusade, and so I look forward to reading World Embryo.

Side note: If an anime version of World Embryo is ever made, hopefully GONZO will not be the production studio after what they did to Chrono Crusade.

The anime was fine. I have both the anime and manga... it's biggest problem is that they both ended at nearly the same time in Japan, effectively keeping the anime from following the exact storyline from the manga.

If you want to see an anime that completely messed up the ending, look at Mahoromatic.

PS> This'll be only the second series from Dark Horse I plan to buy. Now if only I could actually get my local Borders to stock Gantz...

At least Mahoromantic The Anime has something vaguely resembling a happy ending. Chrono Crusade The Anime was a "Kira wins, Shin Cries on the moon" ending.

Hey, another series from the great Daisuke Moriyama! Cool Definitely had to check out the news article for this one out of interest based on that information alone. Story summary definitely sounds like something I'd like, so yeah, definitely gotta give this one a read. Don't know how good it'll be in comparison to Chrono Crusade, but I'm sure it'll still be dang good.

It was a bit of a struggle for me to convince a couple of friends who were fans of the manga and had finished the anime to get the last volume. They feared a similar disappointment.

Hate to say it but regardless of Moriyama's opinion, the anime ending was just too depressing and... I wanna say but it was sort of "Oh crap, is he done with the manga? No?! BUT THE LAST EPISODE AIRS TOMORROW" kind of ending.

...You know, if I had to give an example. The manga's ending was just too perfectly satisfying to even be comparable with the anime.

Oh cool, another work by 'Moriyama-san'. I was wondering if he was doing anything else. I guess I hadn't been keeping up with the manga scene since I don't visit too many Japanese bookstores. So I'll have to check this out when it's released. Love his work. Loved the 'CC' manga, hated the anime. But that's another story.
