We have all learned now that is bad to ride your bike...in the rain...WTF? I bet he was trying to hold on to an umbrella at the same time too.
Though I am pretty impressed he drew that picture with his off arm, I can't even draw that well with my main hand.

Good news. I just wish that someone would pick up the Zipang manga license. I have collected all of the anime, but I know there's so much more in the manga.
Del Rey or anyone, please license Zipang. It would be nice to get a mature entertaining series, that goes on for a while.

I love A Spirit of the Sun as well as Zipang, I wish that would also get licensed.

As a recent survivor of two bike vs. car accidents, yes two for a total of three lifetime, I feel his pain. Luckily and amazingly I did not break anything.
May he get well soon and continue to ride and draw.
And yes, riding in the rain is a super challenge, yet fun!

Depends upon how fast he was going in the rain. Doesn't matter because any time it's raining whether it's in a car, on a bike, or a truck, you have to be cautious of the weather as well as the road conditions. It's good though that he is making a recovery and will be able to continue the series. Your writing hand in the manga world is like that million dollar foot in the NFL, it's your livelihood.
