Found these songs, not too long ago. Thought they were ok......... Anyone around here like this guy or at least the songs?

I've only heard two or three of his songs, but my favorite so far is "Metamorphoze" from the new Zeta Gundam. I really like his voice.

I like Gackt, although I'm not obsessed, I like his style and his songs. My favs are Redemption and Metamorphoze...

I actually fell in love with that single when I was in Japan and bought it there. I like the aforementioned songs as well, but I'm not so much of a Gackt fan. In fact he's one of my rather guilty pleasures when it comes down to it. |

Please correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Gackt the same guy from Liar Game the drama? He's a teenage hearthrob and my friend is obsessed with him.... I think he kinda looks like a really ugly woman.
His songs are okay, they're just average J-Pop songs aimed at teenage girls so it's hard to say they're terrible. Is he one of Johnny's Boys? Was he in any boy bands before he went solo as Gackt? |

I've heard some of his songs. I think he's pretty good. My favorite ones of his I've heard are "white eyes" and "Dybbuk."
Amasa, I think he was in a visual kei band before, if I remember right. I can't remember what it's called right now. |

I like Gackt, his style in fashion and music.
To answer your questions, no he was not in that drama but he was in the movie Moon Child. Yes he's a teenage heartthrob. Why? He's a man with an interesting background and people believe he's magical and can do anything. If you have seen him on popular Japanese talk shows you'll see what I mean. I don't really see how this can look like a really ugly woman. He's what some people might call a real-life bishounen. No he's not JPB. Lastly yes he was in a band called Malice Mizer then went for a solo career then recently joined the group called S.K.I.N. Apparently the group made an appearance at Anime Expo 07 so you can look that up in youTube; currently most of the stuff they show low quality. |

Personally i really like Gackt. His voice is really great and he is cool looking most of the time. Although he did have a strange corn row hairstyle for a while and that was scary. But he is a great singer.

Ehhh....Gackt. My mom thought he was a woman, and a ton of my friends are convinced that he's the definition of hotness. Don't get me wrong, I like a few of his songs; Redemption, Metamorphoze, and that song he did with HYDE, Orenji no Taiyou. I just think he's overrated.

Gackt is pretty good. I used to be obsessed with his music but that kinda faded when I heard Dir En Grey and Larc en Ceil. Otherwise with him and his music, my overall opinion is that you could give it a chance if you wanted to.

I came across Gackt from listenign to Malice Mizer. I listened to some of his music and I thought some of it was okay. He's not really my thing.

I am not ashamed to say, as a guy, I have a tremendous crush on him and I am naturally straight.
Usually I enjoy his songs, some I can give and take. I really like Vanilla, Love Letter, Redemption, Another World, and White Eyes. There are other songs that escape me right now, but those define the bulk of my favorite. (Every time he sings Love Letter in my iPod I feel as if he's singing to me

I like his song Another World. other than that, Gackt has been seen to express some unusual behavior if you're not used to the visual-kei scene or anything related to his type of music. Him with the Jesus thing on one of his albums though, I don't know.
