actually Blue Dragon came on like an hour ago. guess they ran it early. not really into the show so far, and the intro/outro are once again changed to some generic american band.
good to see something different on Adult Swim.

Awesome to hear that AS will be showing more Shin Chan. Also Moribito looks like something I'd like.

Great news for Moribito fans. I had only heard a little about the show before this week. I guess now we know why MB picked it up, it's been quite a while since they've had a show on Cartoon Network if I'm not mistaken. Sounds like it's Toonami bound. Just speculating for a minute, but if they bring this to Toonami and bring back One Piece plus Blue Dragon then Naruto might be cut back down to one new episode a week.

Awesome more Shin-chan on [as]. But wait, will Moribito be airing on [as] or Cartoon Network? I think Moribito would do great on Toonami unedited (there isn't that much violence) instead of a late night Saturday slot on [as].

I'm so on cloud 9 right now. First Morbito gets rescued from Geneon title hell, then I find out it'll get the dub treatment and now it's going to air on Cartoon Network. The only thing this fan could ask for is a vol. 1 release date but for now, I'm pretty satisfied.

as I'm reading this in the back of my mind I'm imagining the board who manages the schedual for AS chanting while shaking their hands "no more anime more home brew shows" that's all I have to say about this sure it's good more anime is being aired but that thought is just crawling all over the back of my mind

1) Shin-chan's start date and time has already been changed. New Shin begins on Saturday night, April 12, at midnight now.
2) Have to believe that Moribito is on its way to Adult Swim. It's both too violent and too slow and brooding for Toonami, plus it's by the Stand Alone Complex director/team, and Adult Swim tends to like shows that have [as] show legacy.

Now I know it's been a while since I've watched it but I'd hardly classify Morbito as being too violent for Toonami viewers. No blood (unless you count a little bit of red on the bandages), limbs falling off, or adult themes. Heck, Princess Mononoke and Naruto, two shows that have been/are on Toonami are way more risqué than Morbito. Although I do agree about the slow and brooding part

Moribito may not have much in the way of big geysers of blood (though it certainly has quite a bit more blood than you apparently remember), but it's far far more realistically violent than Naruto is for sure, and something like Mononoke is a really special and unique case. Namely that they're flat out not allowed to cut Mononoke at all. It's in the licensing contract for it.

I think Moribito is perfect for Cartoon Network. Slick animation and a great story; a little bit of emotion and a little bit of violence. I'm predicting a hit.

This is an interesting development.
Hopefully Razer in Canada will pick up those Shin-chan episodes down the road.

If you mean the general non-editing policy of Studio Ghibli, then all I have to say is that that sure didn't stop the CBC from editing Spirited Away when they aired it.

Guardian of the Spirit on Cartoon Network?
Awesome.
I hope the series really gets the attention it deserves.
