BRICKS HAVE BEEN SHAT, etc.

Otakon just one-upped AX in terms of GARness.

This will be the most epic concert ever held in the United States.

I wonder what they will perform. I am hoping for...

Soul Taker
Hagane no Messiah
Go!!
Victory
GONG
ROCKS
Breakout
Rising Force
Asu he no houkou
Meikyuu no Prisoner
Neppu Shippu Cybuster
SKILL for final encore. (I CAN FLY! HEY! YOU CAN FLY! HEY! MOTTO MOTTO!!!!!)

For an example of how epic their concerts are, look no further than
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uwky1ciyE0g

Some solo-songs are also welcome, e.g. Cha la head cha la, GAO-GAI-GAR, Macross 7 songs, etc.

Shocked Oh my god.

Sometimes, I wish that Canada could get guests like these.

I really like Masami Okui's songs in the various anime that I've watched, from Yu-Gi-Oh!, to Ray the Animation, to Ramen Fighter Miki. Fast-paced, and catchy.

But Rica Matsumoto. Given the opportunity, I would go to Otakon for Rica Matsumoto alone. I would die a happy man if I got her to sign my Pokemon movies.

Then come! It's not too late!

Oh man, this is incredible! It seemed like a lot of the Japanese guests didn't get good turnout last year, so this is a pleasant surprise! Smile

If this were a solo concert for Okui Masami, I'd be there in a heartbeat. It's cool nonetheless.

It's appearances of kickass bands like JAMProject which make me wonder why I have the misfortune of being a British anime fan instead of being a US anime fan as we hardly ever get guests like them over here... Sad

It would be wonderful if they came over to JapanEX in London this summer as I know they have a lot of fans in the UK besides myself and it would be especially great to meet Masami Okui, Hironobu Kageyama and Masaaki Endou and get the members of the band to sign my Gravion Zwei boxset... Very Happy

Thank you Otakorp, thank you God. Hopefully this is just the start, but I'd be content with just them as far as musical/Japanese guests are concerned.

There's no avoiding it. I have to go to Otakon this year. I wonder if they'll do their individual works as well. Then I could get JAM Project goodness with live Yuusha-Oh Tanjou!

OMG, if Rica Matsumoto AND Masami Okui make it to Otakon I will be there front row. I am a very happy japanese music fan right now.

On /m/, they're talking about chanting "Ga-ga-ga ga-ga-ga-GaoGaiGar!" until Masaaki Endoh gives them what they want.
