Hmmm, interesting.
Perhaps I should hold out on buying Kanon until my family eventually gets a Blu-ray player and to see if ADV will solicit it for the format. I'm sure it'd look amazing in high definition.

Evangelion will probably be the first series they release on Blu-ray. After all, why not milk the series more? They've already milked the series to the grave, might as well keep milking it into the afterlife.
It'll be awhile before I get a blu-ray player and dive into buying blu-ray movies. I'm sticking with regular DVDs for now.

So I'm confused... did they pull all their titles so they could negotiate the licenses for possible releases in Blu-ray?

I wouldn't doubt this was part of it. ADV does seem to love a fuss.

So does this mean they will solely be distributing their titles in Blu-Ray, or be releasing two versions--regular and Blu-Ray?
(sorry if this is a dumb question)

Yet another reason to buy a ps3 when I can.
I'm just glad ADV's not biting the dust. \o/
