And I still remember those days when I keep saying to people : "Hollywood is making nothing but sequels or remakes, nothing original! but if you look at Japan..."

Yea but Zero, Haruhi and, Higu are all based on longer running stories and are simply adaptions of said stories?

The Second Season *sucks*. Here's hoping they'll do a better job this time around. The story seems fun enough when it's not suffering from incompetent executions and boob jokes.
Does anyone know who's the director? Is it the same hack from Season 2 or somebody else?

Hopefully Saito won't be as much of a letdown in the third series. I thought he would actually get better by the end only to have them pull of that "back to normal" prank and have him be just as foolishly perverted as ever...

im glad they decided to make a 3rd season. i really hope that do better they did on the 2nd season. not that it was all that bad i still liked it but it was not as good as the first. i wonder when they plan to start to air this? and i wonder if the english dub will be pulled out of the limbo that geneon left.

I seriously hope not because butchering of the light novels aside that director was a talentless hack who had no concept of pacing (lets spend 3-4 episodes on the back story of someone new who nobody cares about and rush the big pivotal scenes at the end, great directing, great pacing!) and inserted lame boob jokes every [expletive] chance he had.
Now to actually bring up the light novels it's a joke that volume 8 was summed up as "lol big boob fairy saved me lol". My main hopes for the 3rd series are the following
New director
Sticks closer to the source material
Ignores the last episode of the second season and uses that as the starting point and expands from there.

This news shows that either Znt is a quite a success either Japanese producers are staying in those stories which works, even if it's just a little.
Anyway, it's better having short-episoded "seasons" right to the main story than 100-episodes' animes which 70 are fill-ins.

This is the best news I've had in MONTHS. I LOVED both of the series. Normally I wait until a series is completely fansubbed before I watch it, but Zero 2 was one of the rare ones I watched AS it was being released. There's one thing I want to know though...
In the final episode of Zero 2, Saito and Louise had their wedding, but she passed out midway through. However, it progressed far enough for the magical flowers to be connected to each other's life force. Are they officially married? If so, that's gonna open up a whole world of problems for Saito with Siesta still going full steam ahead to win Saito over.

I don't know. I kinda feel like this is happening due to the fact that they feel "obligated" to continue with the story and the still gigantic gap that remains.
Mind you, the war hasn't really progressed much and then there's the entire "completely new villain-ess" that they've done nothing for so far.

Its sales are fairly consistent, 10k seems to be the "magic" mark to determine if a show is a big hit or not but 5k+ seems to be good enough to make sequels.
