X/1999 by Clamp, not sci-fi, but you have a few non sci-fi titles, and a few clamp, so this is a definate.

BlackJack.
It is a classic, and a damn good one. I know several will chime in on the series, and it is just a wonderful classic.
Trigun, popular for a reason. The manga is a quality step above the anime.
Naruto, Ninja fun. It is a comedy for the first book, but takes dark turns afterwards leading to some good drama.

X, Evangelion, and definitely Rurouni Kenshin (especially when they get to around volume 7 ).

GTO, Ragnarok, Angelic Layer. Those are the best of the best that I have that you don't already have.

I also recommend X as well as Clover. You read Chobits and Wish, so I think Clover would be liked as well.

Hmmm...What about Fushigi Yuugi? Or Inu-Yasha? If you are into comedy, Ranma 1/2?

GTO! This is quite possibly my favorite manga, and is great because after reading it you could go watch the live action series and anime. Another one of my favs is Azumanga Daioh! This is the funniest thing i've ever read, and i can't wait for ADV to release the anime next year.

Oppsie, looked over at my bookcase and relised that I forgot that I have Trigun, Ranma 1/2 and No Need for Tenchi (I didn't care for the manga as much as the OVA though)
Thanks for the recomendations though, I have first of X/1999 and Evangelion on the way. Of course I am always looking for more to read.
